Giacomo Capuzzo, assisted by Alice Paladin, has successfully extracted collagen from osteological samples analysed in MOLA at the laboratories of the Institute for Mummy Studies of Eurac Research. The collagen will be utilized for sulfur isotope analysis to reconstruct local sulfur baselines in the eastern Italian Alps on faunal remains and investigate the palaeomobility of prehistoric individuals buried in the region. Gratitude is extended to the entire team of the Institute for Mummy Studies for their kind hospitality and cooperation.
